The AYSO Difference

Volunteer Based

AYSO is a volunteer based program – everyone on staff is a volunteer and is committed to providing your child with a positive soccer experience.

Team Staffing

Ideally, AYSO would like to see 2-3 coaches on every team along with a team parent.  If your child’s team is in need of a volunteer and you are interested in assisting – please let us know.  The players will enjoy the game the most and develop the fastest with extra volunteers.

Practices

U6          Twice a week, 45-60 minutes per practice

U8          Twice a week, 60 minutes per practice

U10        Two to three times per week, 60 -75 minutes per practice

U12        Two to three times per week, 60-90 minutes per practice

U14        Two to three times per week, 60-90 minutes per practice

Games

U6 , U8 and U10 teams are always played on Saturday morning to early afternoon at Thurston Middle School.  Sometimes U10 teams play in Eugene at the Kennedy Middle School / Churchill High School fields.

U12 and U14 teams will play either at the 32^nd Street Willamalane fields or the Churchill High School field.  These teams may have games on weekdays as well as Saturdays.
