Spring 2026 Important Dates for U6-U12:
Registration Closes: Sunday, March 1
Waitlists will open March 2; families will be contacted if there is space and sufficient volunteers
Team Formation Begins: Monday, March 2
Waitlists will be open as space allows and with enough volunteer coaches!
Season Kickoff Event: Tuesday, March 10, 5:30 – 7:30 PM
Calvary Open Bible Church, main building. Get uniforms, purchase cleats, and hear about updates for the year. There will be quick presentations about what to expect this season at approximately 5:45 & 6:45. If you’re new to AYSO, learn what makes us unique and general rules/guidelines, and/or find out about becoming a volunteer! Everyone is encouraged to drop in!
Registration Fully Closes: Sunday, March 15
Coaches, Team Parents & Referees Meeting: Tuesday, March 17, 5:30 – 7:00 PM
Calvary Open Bible Church, main building. If you will be coaching, refereeing, or signing up to be a Team Parent, this meeting is for you! Or, maybe you aren’t quite sure and want to come learn more about volunteering this season…this is your chance! Please plan to come for this full meeting time. Sandwiches will be provided for dinner, so please RSVP HERE.
Practices Begin: Week of March 30
When registering, you indicated (or will indicate) your preferred practice days/times/locations. We do our best to form teams that work for everyone. This means considering all of these factors, plus ensuring there’s a familiar schoolmate or two on each team, and keeping everything as balanced as possible for fun, competitive games. Once we complete the lengthy process of team formations, which includes assigning coaches, your coach will reach out to confirm your practice days and times. This often doesn’t happen until the week before practices start so don’t panic if you haven’t heard anything – we’re hard at work on things behind the scenes!
First Games: Saturday, April 4
The first games of the season will be Saturday, April 4 at Thurston Middle School. Please note, games will run 12:00 – 4:00 this first Saturday due to the Willamalane egg hunt.
If you’re new to AYSO, all games are at TMS and always on Saturdays. Game schedules will come about right before the season begins. Standard start times are as early as 9 am or may be as late as 3 pm. Due to limited parking it is essential that we spread out games to allow for teams to exit and free up parking for the next teams to arrive.
Last Games: Saturday, May 16
PreSchool Program:
- Games will begin Saturday, April 4
- Preschool teams do not have formal practices
- Field location: behind the school, next to the football field
- Day 1: Uniform/ball distribution and games
- Player’s schedules are available. Please see above the division schedules
- Every week, you will meet at the same time
- Players are grouped by age (i.e. months old)
